Improvement of Internal Logistics by Applying Lean Production Concept

This research proposes how Implementaion of Lean Production Tools may be used in production process improvement. Theoretical and empirical studies were carried out. Literature review helped define the problem. A case study was performed at "Levin refrigeration equipment” company to investigate through a holistic approach how this tools can provide a solution to the research questions. The results anticipated could reveal the interrelation between sourcing strategy, internal logistics and lean implementation strategies and help the studied company revise their production system. The expected results will be represented as cost efficiency of the proposed optimization model to production of refrigeration equipment.
