Competition is an essential condition for the normal functioning of a market economy. In the modern economy there is a diversity of types of competition. Of greatest interest is inter-fuel competition, as fuel and energy complex plays an important role in the economy of both Russia and the European Union (EU). In Russia the fuel and energy complex acts as a source of income in the EU plays the role of energy supplier to key sectors of the economy. For both players of the energy market, the issue of inter-fuel competition is particularly relevant. In the development of society, economy, state energy plays the primary role, and therefore its development, and the development of inter-fuel competition, in particular, is necessary because it covers almost all sectors of the global economy.
