Challenges of Increasing Non-Raw Material Export from Russia

The paper presents a study of Challenges of Increasing Non-Raw Material Export from Russia, which affects almost all Russian econometrics researches nowadays. The work focuses on the analysis of the current state and structure of exports from the Russian Federation, the study of key objectives and guidelines of the Russian export policy, as well as the study of the main areas of state support for export development. One of the main features of this paper is the relevance of the topic: our country is largely dependent, and therefore vulnerable on world oil and gas prices because of the relatively high proportion of hydrocarbons in exports. The study includes the review of existing policy of import substitution in Russia and estimation of the possible options for development in this sphere. The results of work is the improved methodology for the disclosure of the information on an innovative development in the conditions of sanctions, which is expected to benefit the information users. The methodology which has been described during the study is based on the examples of countries that have successfully implemented domestic innovative export strategy.
