In this paper, we consider a mathematical model that can be used to describe the functioning of some real system designed to store and sell a particular type of product. The aim of the research is to solve the problem of optimal stock management theoretically. In this paper it is proved that the solution of the problem is achieved on a degenerate distribution corresponding to the deterministic control value.
