Models and Methods of Calculating Reliability of Providing the Airport Luggage System

Abstract The process of baggage handling is the main component of passenger service. For this, the smooth functioning of the airline at the airport is very important. Although the awareness of the importance efficient LSM is high, the practical application of the proper management of luggage system is problematic due to the lack of studies in this sphere. This paper goals’s is to identify the weaknesses of the baggage handling systems currently used by airports to identify areas to improve their efficiency and accuracy. The methods of improving the baggage system in this study are: research of luggage removal and trial implementation of a three-dimensional robotic model. Thus, the research results will be the choice of an automated system that can improve the efficiency of the carrying capacity of the luggage system and realize it. keywords: luggage system, airport baggage system; three-dimensional robotic model; AnyLogic model; optimization; scanning technology.
