The formation of an effective management system for the use of stocks is an important tool of the company's economic policy aimed at stability and innovative development. Effective inventory management is impossible without the implementation of structural approaches, the use of indicator systems, and modernization of methods for planning and analyzing the exploitation of stocks. In the course of this work, an analysis of the inventory management system at «Ergotek» was conducted and the main problem areas of management were identified. With the help of the ABC-XYZ-classification analysis and subsequent modeling of four inventory management systems, the main directions for the improvement of a certain group of goods -AX were shown. In addition, as a recommendation to more effective implementation of the management, the introduction of an automated system in the enterprise-DDMRP was proposed.
