How Did the Political Changes Affect the Export of Capital in Russia between 2006 and 2016?

The paper examines the phenomenon of capital flight from Russia in the period from 2006 to 2016. Political events and factors that influenced the change in its magnitude are considered. Attention is paid to the period after the complication of the external and internal political situation in 2014. Also considered are Russian companies that are partly or wholly owned by non-residents of the country and are dividing these firms into those that are foreign investments and those who can be attributed to the exporters of capital from the territory of Russia
