Internal Control Processes Automation for IT- Consulting Company

The aim of the research is to develop a list of recommendations for automating the internal control system for organizations providing services in the field of IT consulting in order to ensure a sufficient level of reliability and availability of information about the company's activities for effective management decisions. The absence of specialized requirements for the control of internal activities of companies in IT consulting leads to the need to form a list of recommendations for the internal control system, which makes the topic of this research relevant. The paper discusses the requirements of international and Russian legislation in the field of organization of internal control systems. During the research, the main business processes were described, during which the IT consulting company gets quantitative estimates of the reserach results and on the basis of which the management reports for the company management are formed, the risks of these business processes are identified and evaluated. Next, a list of key performance indicators of the company was identified, a list of control procedures was developed, and the coverage of key performance indicators with control procedures was assessed. These results together form a list of recommendations for automating the internal control processes in a company providing IT consulting services.
