Renovation project is one the most discussed topics in Moscow during last several years. It is not surprising for such an important initiative. The consequences of renovation will influence the whole population of Moscow, but only a small group of city dwellers had an opportunity to influence the situation. This group consisted of property owners in the 5-story buildings. The distribution of voting results allows us to estimate the influence of neighborhood, location and other characteristics of house on its value for inhabitants. As an addition, these results can help us to determine the influence of living environment on social interaction and civic engagement.
