Objects of cultural and historical heritage connect us with past generations. There is no doubt about the value that cultures have for us, so it is important to finance and preserve them. In order for these processes to be effective, you need to properly evaluate them. so, choose the appropriate evaluation method. The paper examines the existing methods for the evaluation of cultural objects, their advantages and disadvantages, and also analyzed the practical case of assessing one of the Russian heritage objects.
