An Efficiency of M&A in High-Tech Industries in Developed Countries (Empirical Analysis)

This study is set to analyze the effectiveness of M&A in the developed countries in post- crisis period (2008-2018) and pick out the main factors of success in M&A in different regions in the world. The study makes several noteworthy contributions to the analysis of the M&A deals in the high-tech industry where the number of deals is growing rapidly. Therefore, any research in this area will add to the existing incomplete knowledge. The empirical findings of this study provide a new understanding of the major M&A success factors across regions which may be different within the countries of the various groups. Apart from that, the results of the study can be used by business leaders across different countries while making decision to conduct M&A deal.
