Evaluation of Logistics Costs in Supply Chains

This paper addresses the problem of estimating logistic costs in supply chains. The relevance of this topic is due to the high significance of the cost of logistics in the overall cost structure both at the company level and at the global level. Proper assessment and cost analysis can be sources of cost optimization, a more rational organization of the supply chain and achieving optimal results. In the first chapter we consider the role of logistics in the economy, what is the current state of affairs in the market of logistics services in Russia and abroad. Next, we will take a closer look at what an assessment of logistics costs in supply chains represents, consider what their structure is and explain why we need to evaluate logistic costs. Works of different authors will be considered, then a comparison of approaches is made. The third chapter will be devoted to the analysis of the focus of the company and the assessment of transport costs
