Film and television today are an integral part of the life of the whole country. Cinema and television programs directly affect the development of the cultural level of the population, as well as affect many other areas of human life. The realities of the modern world (globalization, cultural integration, the rapid development of digital technologies in the field of mass communications) constantly pose new challenges for the international legal community. We are talking about the complex nature of audiovisual works, and new intellectual property that were not previously familiar with the Russian legal field. An analysis of the copyright institute in the field of film and television is extremely important for a deeper understanding of the field under study by those people who are professionally involved in the process of creating films, as well as lawyers who may potentially face the need to resolve violations of rights in this area. The process of creating any movie or television program involves many stages that require the collaboration of a large number of people. The definition of both the authors themselves, who are directly the subjects of copyright, and the volume of their rights is a priority from the point of view of economics and jurisprudence. So, modern film and television programs can no longer be classified as ordinary objects of copyright in their traditional sense, since they are not the result of the work of an individually defined person. Thus, new atypical mechanisms are often created that allow the implementation of such legal norms in practice.Numerous unexplored problems encountered in the implementation of the subjects of copyright activities in the field of cinema and television, and determine the relevance of this work.
