Analysis of Using Social media Tools for Effective Promotion of Start-ups in the Event Business Area

At the moment, event-business in Russia is just beginning to develop. This sector is represented by few companies. The Russian market differs from the foreign one both in the number of services provided and in the number of original offers. Companies prefer to post information about their services using the official website as the main platform for interacting with the audience, while social media tools are gaining great popularity as an effective way to promote an event agency. The purpose of this study was to analyze and identify the most effective tools and create a promotion strategy in social media for a start-up project in the field of event business. A survey of the potential target audience of a start-up project in the field of event business was used as the main method in the work. As an auxiliary method, an analysis of the qualitative and quantitative results of the work of similar companies in the field of event business that provide services for organizing events was used. The result of this work is a developed strategy for promoting a start-up project in the field of event business using social media tools.
