Prospects of Green Bonds in Russia

Green bonds is a relatively new financial instrument that came to the markets 10 years ago, meanwhile the first issue of such security in Russia occurred only in 2018. Despite the fact that market of green bonds demonstrates enormous growth in other countries, Russian market is still in the early stage of its development. This research is aimed to derive what kind of factors impact the development of green bonds markets by using fixed effects model. The research examines whether macroeconomic factors or governmental policies influence the development of green bonds market.
