This final qualification work contains the study of the possibility of introducing a model of interculturalism into the national policy of the Russian Federation, in particular in the largest cities - Moscow and Perm. The paper discusses the cultural diversity management models that were used earlier and relevant at the moment, as well as highlighted the main problems of the implementation of the national policy of the Russian Federation at the municipal and state levels. Special attention is paid to the analysis of national policies of the largest cities of the Russian Federation - Moscow and Perm and the identification of the main advantages of cities and restrictions for the successful implementation of national policies. The analysis is accompanied by a questionnaire on the state of interethnic relations in cities according to the residents of Moscow and Perm. The conclusion of the work is recommendations and suggestions for improving the national policy of the largest cities of the Russian Federation through the implementation of the Interculturalism model.
