This work includes a comparative study of certain trust structures in transactions for the provision of financing (security trust, Quistclose trust). The author also analyses the investment powers of trustees, describes specific types of investment trusts. A significant part of this work includes a comparison of some features of trusts with their equivalents used in financial transactions in Russia. The author also shares his thoughts on models for the diffusion of trusts and the legislation of the Russian Federation on the basis of existing regulatory legal acts and legal positions of court practice.
