This research presents the analysis of esoteric receptive approach towards Russian classical literary texts on the base of 2 teachings: “VseYAsvetnaya Gramota” and Bazhov academy of occult knowledge. The aim of my paper is to provide the typological peculiarities of texts included in Russian esoteric teachings and to estimate the function of them within the frame of esoteric community. I use analytic and comparative approach to obtain this goal. As results of the investigation the following crucial text features for esoteric transformation exposing have been deduced: all texts have at least partial fantastic plot, their authors are famous persons at the community appearance time, the testimony of author’s privity to secret knowledge must be found in his biography. These characteristics help adepts to present the idea of fictional textual realm as the other reality which people can penetrate into and to endow the text characters and an author with secret knowledge bearer function. The goal of this representation is to construct the solid authoritative precedence of eschatological ideas which both communities sustain.
