Tracking, Handling and Analytics of Website Users Behavioral Patterns

The graduating work is devoted to the stages of creation the system for tracking, processing and analyzing the behavioral patterns of website users. Its goal is to create an accessible, lightweight and confidential web analytics system that uses an innovative method for classifying data using content tagging. A review of the subject area was made, and definitions of the basic concepts were given. The following is the information about the steps in the web analytics process. Also, the existing methods of data collection were analyzed - log analyzers and counters, in order to identify more accurate and relevant ones. Also were analyzed the most popular of the existing analogues - Yandex Metric and Google Analytics, noted their advantages and disadvantages. The role of web analytics in conducting business and analyzing the effectiveness of the company's web resource in the modern world was noted. Based on this review, the requirements for the developed analytics system were formulated. The structure and principle of the system of tracking, processing and analyzing the behavioral patterns of website users were described. Based on the selection of development methods, the system was written in the programming languages Java, JavaScript and PHP. The interface was developed using HTML5, CSS3 and various libraries for graphic components. MySQL was chosen as the relational database management system. Testing of the system proved that it meets the requirements presented to it at the review stage. This work contains 74 pages, 44 figures, 4 tables and 30 sources explored.
