The work is devoted to defining the construct of the ability to play "What? Where? When?" Despite the significant spread of this intellectual game, there has not yet been an attempt to describe what is measured by it. For this purpose, we have studied a large set of questions in the sports version of the game "What? Where? When?" to understand what strategies teams use when answering these questions. The Rasch model was used for psychometric analysis of question sets. The result is a frame of the construct of ability to play "What? Where? When?" and psychometric analysis of sets of questions.
