In the master's dissertation "The use of trademarks when placing advertisements on the Internet" investigated the legal relationship arising in connection with the illegal use of another person's trademark when placing advertisements on the Internet. Entrepreneurs, abusing the popularity of a certain brand, illegally use another person's trademark in advertising information posted through the Internet and, receiving their unjustified benefit, form material and reputational risks for the copyright holder. However, the use of another person's trademark without obtaining permission to include this trademark in advertising is not sufficiently regulated by the law of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the research was to substantiate and develop theoretical provisions for the legal qualification of illegal use of another person's trademark when placing advertisements on the Internet.
