The master's thesis is devoted to the consideration of the effectiveness of the model of the project "Pedagogical Volunteer", as a civil initiative, in the context of the increasing role of distance education. An attempt is made to operationalize the concepts of "distance education" and "distance learning"; to conceptualize the concept of "pedagogical volunteerism". A project model for supporting participants in educational relations during the transition to distance learning is proposed and tested. The problem of the new educational situation on the background of the updating of distance education, accompanied by a fragmented development of teaching materials and training courses for teachers on remote education and content of legal acts realities. The role of project activity and public initiative aimed at supporting participants in educational relations in non-standard situations is determined.
