Project of the course “Environmental Management of the University” for the professional development programs of universities` managers

The project of the course "Environmental Management of the University" for advanced training programs for university leaders is presented, including the offer of an educational program, resource requirements for the program, the strategy and tools for recruiting students, the structure of electronic support for the course in the LMS Moodle system, the educational content of the course. The pre-project study considered: the request from the company, from the positions of university managers and employees for personnel trained in the field of environmental management for the higher education system, determined the relevance of the project, caused by the poor quality of environmental training of managers for higher education. Taking into account federal state educational standards, competencies are defined that should be mastered as a result of training on the course. Project results: offering an educational program for potential consumers, which includes a description of the target audience, the structure of tracks with the thematic content of training on the course, technologies and methods of training, requirements for training course teachers, organizational structure, and ways to avoid project risks. The practical significance of the project lies in the intended use of the course for the development and implementation of higher education managers in the advanced training program. Indirectly, the increase in the number of personnel trained in the field of innovative applied knowledge for the management of modern universities should contribute to increasing the economic and environmental efficiency of universities where specialists with environmental management tools work.
