The System of Teaching Foreign Students Basic Communication Skills in Russian

The main purpose of this project is to design and develop the education system that allows foreign students to speed up and simplify their process of learning to read Russian texts and developing basic communication skills in Russian language. The whole complex can be divided into following subsystems: mobile application, relational database and server application. Mobile application implements logic related to processing user’s interactions with the application, server serves as a backend application that processes requests sent from the user, relational database serves as a permanent storage for users’ data. It also stores all educational materials provided by the School of linguistics. All those factors combined make database the main source of information for the complex. This project is important for the foreign students because it can help them to integrate faster and deeper into Russian society, thus making them more connected with their surroundings and so achieve better results in both social and academic fields.
