In the context of the development of the digital economy, for companies, if they want to develop steadily, they must meet the needs of the market and keep up with the trends of its digitalization. Effective digital transformation, especially during a pandemic, empowers enterprises with innovative thinking, increases enterprise efficiency, promotes enterprise automation, reduces operating costs, and more. Especially for traditional enterprises, digital transformation is important. This paper first analyzes how digital technologies work and how they apply in the supply chain. And a model of digital transformation of a cross-border supply chain and a method of digital transformation of an enterprise are proposed. Then, two cases (Haier and Walmart) were used to analyze the company's digital transformation process and verify its effect from digital transformation. Finally, it offers several proposals for digital transformation for enterprises and summarizes trends in industries participating in the digital supply chain in the future. The scientific novelty of this work is embodied in the proposal of a model of vertical digital transformation of a cross-border supply chain; an approach of horizontal digital transformation of enterprises in the supply chain is also proposed.
