EdTech Market is still underdeveloped but is growing very fast every year. The COVID-19 pandemic that caused lockdowns all over the world led to a big surge of interest in online learning. The rapid increase in target audience not only gave a new impetus to the development of new IT solutions in education and to invest significant capital in it, but also showed that there are still a lot of limitations in the existing approaches to online learning that should be overcome in order to meet user requirements. Additional school education became one of the most demanding niches. The current work is a part of the project aimed at developing the educational software for preparation to the Russian State Exam in Mathematics in correspondence with the specified requirements. The describing EdTech product provides the user with an adaptive learning technology represented by the step-by-step problem-solving technique, which helps the student to prepare for the exam independently, without a teacher involvement. The aim of the Master Thesis is to design inner and external data flow between various system components as well as to design and develop Server module, which is the core of developing educational software system, it acts as a mediator between the users (using Mobile Application as a client service) and system shared resources stored in Database. Components included in Mobile Application, Server and Data Management Server modules were implemented in accordance with combination of previous year analysis, formed software specification and extended version of server requirements specification which was specially prepared for Master Thesis paper. This document is structured as a mix of software components design specification with explanatory parts and sections clarifying system architecture. As far as potential impact from the current work is concerned, it should contribute to the achievement of the final project's goal of developing modern solution that would help pupils during their preparation to the Russian state exam in mathematics.
