The research paper examines the features of verbal and non-verbal communication, especially addresses, compliments, and social distance, based on Russian-Chinese cooperation within the framework of Hofstede’s dimensions and Hall’s theory. The research represents a meta-analysis of 30 studies on the issue with special attention paid to the mentioned aspects. A correlation between the latter and the power distance, the perception of space and the level of masculinity is indicated respectively. The anticipated results will be useful for the further study of cross-cultural discourse and for effective communication between Russia and China. Keywords: verbal communication, non-verbal communication, intercultural communication, corporate culture, business context
