The relevance of the thesis lies in satisfying the high interest of the management of Russian commercial banks in modern technologies for the implementation of financial planning and budgeting, which are based on multidimensional analytical cubes, using artificial intelligence and machine learning. Many domestic banks are interested in implementing projects for transforming business processes and managing financial results in order to increase the financial stability of the organization and gain a competitive advantage by improving the quality of financial planning and budgeting. The content of the thesis makes it possible to significantly increase the awareness of the management of Russian commercial banks about the markets of automated information systems intended for the implementation of a unified financial planning platform, as well as to demonstrate the development of an information and analytical model of financial planning using predictive analytics tools. The practical significance of the thesis is to test approaches to creating a budget model based on rolling planning using business performance management or corporate performance management (CPM), as well as developing recommendations for implementing CPM systems in commercial banks. The purpose of the thesis is to develop an information and analytical model for financial planning of the activities of a credit and financial institution in a commercial bank using a CPM class platform.
