Digital Inequality in Е-Government Services in Saint -Petersburg

The degree work on a subject "Digital inequality in the field of electronic public services in St. Petersburg" is devoted to the study of digital barriers that arise when using electronic public services and ways to overcome them. Within the framework of the study, primary data on the use of electronic public services were collected using a questionnaire and their statistical analysis was performed by constructing a Logistic regression model and correlation matrices. In-depth interviews were conducted and analyzed, the motivation of informants to use electronic public services was revealed, and statistical data on Russia and St. Petersburg illustrating the problems associated with digital inequality were presented. The main digital barriers in the field of electronic public services in St. Petersburg are identified and schematized. A scheme of areas of work to overcome the digital divide has been drawn up. A roadmap and recommendations for overcoming digital inequality in the field of electronic public services have been developed.
