Masculinity is understood as a category, which construction and reconstruction directly depends on social context. Gender researchers distinguish one of the types of masculinity that is constructed by men in military institutions which is described as military masculinity. Man's experience gained during his military service is fundamental for the reconstruction and representation of his masculinity including the period of him leaving service and "re-entering" civilian life. Using the method of narrative analysis the author analyzes 20 semi-structured interviews with young men who experienced mandatory enlistment aged 19 to 27 years. The analysis allowed to identify 3 models of military masculinity integration into men's civilian lives.
