Improvement of the Transport Service in the Manufacturing Company (LLC Air Liquide Russia)

It is impossible to imagine modern reality without the production of technical gases. Metallurgy, construction, medicine, science and so on - all these industries are closely connected with the production of industrial gases. Therefore, effective functioning of enterprises producing technical gases is very important, since both the operation of important social sectors of the economy and the economy as a whole depend on it. Logistics in general and its transport support in particular is a rather important component for effective operation of technical gas producing companies and related institutions. High level of logistical service and complete transport support of medical oxygen supply to medical institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic is an important condition for successful treatment of critically ill patients with coronavirus. Nowadays, sufficient production and timely delivery of medical gases is a global challenge. Within the framework of the graduate qualification work the object of the study is the focus company LLC "Air Liquide" - a French company for the production of technical gases. The subject of the study is the transport support of the logistics system in the production company. The relevance of this work is that this market is competitive, and low level of logistics service will be the cause of loss of competitiveness, loss of profits and bottleneck. The purpose of the graduate qualification work is to improve the quality of transport service in the focal company. In order to achieve the above objectives in the work the following tasks are solved: - Assessment of the position of LLC "Air Liquide" in the market - Assessment of logistic problems and, in particular, the transport service of LLC "Air Liquide" - Search for vulnerable spots of the company's transport support - choice of adequate theoretical base - Formation of proposals for improving transport service and their substantiation Theoretical value of this work lies in the analysis of the total amount of theoretical information, and to identify the most appropriate of them for practical application in a real company. The practical significance of this work is a scientific view of the logistics service of the company and the formation of applied proposals to improve the level of transport service. The work consists of 3 chapters. In the first chapter the analysis of the company's activities: economic, financial and logistics. Also, based on this analysis, specific problems are identified, which is aimed at solving the work. The second chapter presents an analysis of the scientific literature on the presented problem of ways to increase the level of transport service in the production company. The degree of scientific elaboration of the work consists in the use of Russian and foreign literature of authors who are known as professionals in their fields. The third chapter gives specific reasoned proposals for improving the level of transport service in the focal company with economic justification.
