Women's leadership, as a topic of struggle for the opportunity to be successful, to become leaders of public opinion, to engage in politics and business - every year more and more relevant. One part of the society speaks out with feminist slogans, calling for equal rights for women and men and the rejection of masculinity, while the other part emphasizes that the qualities of a leader do not depend on gender. A psychoanalytic view of the problem of leadership can provide an answer to the unconscious essence of the struggle taking place in society. Is there a difference between female and male leadership, or does the problem lie in the plane of each person's personal psychotype and the unconscious projections of a society that is either ready to endow women with leadership qualities, or there are certain internal barriers? Why is one society ready to see a woman as the leader of the country, and another is ready to put a woman politician on the scaffold? Why is it that in some groups a career woman is accused of getting her job through bed, and in another they say that it would be better to stay at home and give birth to children? In this master's thesis, a deep psychoanalytic study of the phenomenon of female leadership will be conducted both from the point of view of the psychological characteristics of specific people, and from the point of view of studying the processes of group dynamics. A systematic psychoanalytic view allows us to study the specifics of women's leadership in order to discover the features and prospects of development for women and society. Within the framework of the psychoanalytic approach, it is possible to study the specifics of society's perception of a female leader. What are the internal prerequisites for the appointment of her as a leader by society and the willingness to follow her, as well as her own internal motivations and experiences of herself as a leader, and the harmonious compatibility of different spheres of life without bias in any direction. Women's leadership and men's leadership are like two edges at the pole of a tightrope walker. A tightrope walker is a society that cannot ignore any of the parties, because they work together. This paper examines the difference between male and female leadership. What allows a woman to become a leader in some conditions and how her adaptation strategy changes at different times. As well as the relationship of the intrapsychic processes of the individual and the group with the personality of the leader and the expectations from him.
