Assessment of Efficiency of State Financing of Socially Oriented Non-profit Organizations

Evaluation of the effectiveness of public funding for targeted non-profit organizations may depend on what is assumed to be the effectiveness of such funding. This study will focus on the pursued funding goals and the “penetration” of non-profit organizations into the social sphere. The research question, therefore, is whether the increase in government funding of the non-profit sector affects the socio-economic indicators in the social sector of oriented non-profit organizations in the context of 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The practical significance of the results obtained is seen for several types of state policy to optimize budget expenditures, for state-oriented non-profit programs in the selection of effective tools for their support, as well as for consumers of services for the purpose of transparency of state policy on use with the non-profit sector.
