This paper presents a research of changes in the structure of demand for film industry products over the past 20 years. During the study, it turned out that the most significant in modern reality are the entertainment genre of the film, the presence of special effects and the existence of a franchise, of which the film is a part. Special effects were the most important between 2001 and 2007, the genre was most significant between 2008 and 2014, and between 2014 and 2021, the franchise was the dominant demand factor.
