Within the framework of the project, we applied the methodology of legal design in relation to the Expert Report. Legal design is widely used today in the world's leading practices. However, contrary to popular opinion in our country, the essence of it is not a visual change of legal documents. The aim of the project is the revision of the form of the Expert Report based on the principles of legal design. In the theoretical part, the author investigated the methodology underlying legal design, identified its key stages and components. In the practical part, the author has developed an automated Expert Report template that meets the key principles of legal design. A guide on the use of styles, methodological recommendations for managing the form of conclusion were prepared. The work, in addition to the introduction, conclusion and list of references, consists of three chapters and nine paragraphs. The first chapter consists of three paragraphs, which consider (i) design thinking as a source of legal design methodology, (ii) legal design as an independent phenomenon, (iii) its basic concepts and principles. The second chapter concerns (i) the substance and purpose of the Expert Report, as well as (ii) the regulatory requirements for its form and content. The third chapter contains a description of practical activities and consists of (i) a selection of applicable legal design methods, (ii) a description of the objects of project work, evaluation and formulated proposals, (iii) the selection and justification of the structure of the Expert Report, as well as (iv) a description of the result of prototyping and the use of automation tools. During the implementation of the project, the definition of legal design and a number of key concepts were formulated. In accordance with the highlighted stages of the methodology application, the form of the Expert Report was revised. The result corresponds to the principle of empathy, visualization and the principle of simplification.
