The popularization of feminism in modern Russia leads to a large amount of activist content on social networks, which begins to attract not only women, but also men to the movement. Thus, on the most common platforms based on the publication of visual content, there are a large number of women and men creating media products aimed at spreading feminist ideas in online spaces. Constant online activity requires additional resources, time, effort, creating additional entertainment for bloggers. The master's thesis is devoted to the study of the digital work of feminist and pro-feminist bloggers in social networks, including an analysis of its gender specificity. The work was done in a qualitative methodology. Based on the analysis of empirical material, strategies for creating content in social networks, practices for interacting with platform algorithms, practices for performing emotional work in the online space, and gender differences in online feminist blogging were identified. The paper presents the main gender differences between feminist and pro-feminist bloggers: identity, audience, influence of algorithms and blogging goals.
