Political Discussion Clab for High School Students

The purpose of the project is to create an up-to-date form of extracurricular activities of a political and legal orientation, a discussion political club for high school students that meets the basic principles of state policy in the field of education and satisfies the demand of modern adolescents for self-realization and self-actualization, the development of soft skills, and improving the quality of knowledge on politics and law. The methodology of the work includes both quantitative (standardized interview, survey, testing) and qualitative methods (non-standardized interviews, pedagogical and psychological observation). The project was successfully implemented on the basis of one of the Moscow schools,and is potentially scalable. The author defines the political discussion club of high school students as a voluntary association initiated by high school students for free communication related to political knowledge and interests, for the implementation of joint projects. Club members organize educational lectures, discussions, meetings with politicians, analysts and businessmen, exhibitions and school elections. The project showed an optimal combination of resource costs, primarily human and time, and the results obtained measured by scientific methods.
