Animated Commercial «Raven Saber»

This thesis is dedicated to the study of digital assets in Houdini FX software as a technology for automating typical processes of creating 3D animated commercials. Houdini FX digital assets allow professionals to create complex and realistic visual elements required for film industry, television, video games and advertising. The relevance of the research is beyond any doubt. Nowadays, the level of interest in media content is extremely high among the society. The processes of creating 3D animated commercials require a great amount of time and effort. Materials obtained in the process of such studies make it possible to systematize, form modern understanding of the problem and highlight the best solutions to optimize the expended resource. The novelty of this work consists in the study of up-to-date aspects of the existing knowledge about the problem. It is expected to obtain new results. Research structure is linear and consistent. The study comprises an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion and a bibliography. Chapters are divided into paragraphs. The introduction gives the rationale for the relevance of the work, defines the subject and object of the research, the purpose and main objectives. First chapter raises theoretical aspects of the study, systematizes modern ideas about three-dimensional animation advertising and examines the stages of creating 3D animated promos. Second chapter defines and characterizes the key objectives of digital assets within the framework of Houdini FX, identifies and studies the current trends in their development processes. Third chapter is devoted to a step-by-step study of digital asset creation process. Based on the materials obtained in the course of the study, there are developed practical recommendations for the creation of digital assets in the Houdini FX software. The concluding part of the work contains the major findings of the research, a summarization of the results and a list of references.
