Creation of an Animated Short Film Ordalion

The purpose of this study was to analyze various approaches to rigging in 3D graphics, as well as to demonstrate the work with basic tools used to create rigs in Autodesk Maya. Such aspects as the definition of a rig and its functions in 3D animation, why anatomical accuracy is important for creating realistic characters in films, the features of creating rigs for motion capture, examples of exaggerated animation in cartoons and why they are made, the features of creating rigs for games, as well as the demonstration of work with basic tools for work in the industry were analyzed. This work will be useful for both beginners and experienced 3D artists who want to improve their rigging skills.
