This study was conducted to examine the intricate relationship between the United States and China within the context of Venezuela. The defined objectives encompass the examination of Venezuela's internal organisation, as well as the dynamics between China and Venezuela, and the United States and Venezuela. The aim is to assess and compare the relative significance of their respective influences. The findings of the paper indicate that both countries presently exert influence over Venezuela. However, owing to historical factors, the United States has the ability to affect Venezuela's internal politics, while China, conversely, has control over its foreign policy. The study discusses countries that have successfully collaborated with Venezuela, such as Russia, and have produced favourable outcomes. Recommendations: The presence of internal instability in Venezuela has had and will continue to have a significant impact on its ability to cooperate with other countries. Venezuela need a number of reforms that will alter its standing in the global arena.
