In today's world, the entertainment industry holds significant influence. Almost everyone spends their free time watching a movie, reading fiction or playing a game. Video games stand out significantly among other media because of their interactivity. They require the player to make decisions and react to them. Therefore, games are often much more likely to engage people emotionally and mentally. Game developers are interested in ensuring that their projects provide players with a unique experience and are constantly looking for new ways to enrich the user's gaming experience. One such technique is to enable in-game control of multiple game characters simultaneously as a single entity. On the one hand, this approach opens up many opportunities for game designers and allows for a more engaging gameplay. For example, the more characters with unique abilities in the squad, the more strategies for solving the problem the player has. On the other hand, this method also imposes additional limitations. As it is difficult for a player to associate himself with a group of characters and therefore he is less emotionally attached to this type of hero. Probably that is why the group character is much less common in game projects and studied so little. A more detailed study of the implementation of the group character in existing games may help to find the most successful combination of techniques to enhance the toolkit of game developers.
