An object in the ice is “preserved.” Thinking about preserving the memory of something, the author chose the topic of visual research - “Georgian and Victorian mourning jewelry”, since when creating a collection of jewelry there is an opportunity to be inspired by how memory was preserved in another country, another culture and another time.
