The Evolution of Popular Science Content in the International Media Environment - Using the United States, Russia and North Korea as Examples

In today's era of continuous development of technology and information, the international media environment is also constantly changing, and all of this affects international cultural exchanges and information flows. Science popularization content is a form of science and technology news. It serves more as a bridge between the public and science, disseminating science popularization information to the public. This process can improve the public’s understanding of science, improve citizens’ basic scientific literacy, and promote scientific progress. Although the analyze on the international media environment and science popularization content has always attracted much attention, there is still a lack of systematic analyze on the evolution rules and characteristics of science popularization content produced in different media environments, especially the comparison of the characteristics of science popularization content. There are also large differences in science popularization analyze because the concerns and actual needs of each country are different. Therefore, based on the compilation and analysis of existing analyze, the following analyze hypothesis is: different political systems, scientific development levels, culture and other. The media environment of the country can be affect due to lot of reason, and this affect also can dissemination of popular scientific content in this country. Then we make assume, such like: if in the open media environment, these popular science content may more diversify; if in the closed media environment, when we creating content may consider or restricted in some ways; if in the complex media environment, these content may like between these two environments(open & closed) and actual operation will be more complicated. Then using this hypothesis, this paper simultaneously selects three countries as analyze objects: United States, Russia and North Korea. Then we analyze the differences in their media environments and divide them into different media environments, the popular science content produced by the country's mainstream media is systematically analyzed based on these conditions. At the same time, the analyze focus of this paper is mainly to study the evolution of science popularization content in the international media environment. In addition, this paper uses a large amount of literature analysis, then we also need analysis the text, the goal is to compare there difference and the evolution of popular science content under the different media environments, then to find the factors which can influencing it.
