The media, striving to optimize various processes, began to introduce innovations into their activities, including technologies based on artificial intelligence. The problem is that the field of artificial intelligence itself is relatively new and there are a number of difficulties for its analysis. This work is aimed at a deeper study of the use of artificial intelligence in the media, in particular, it examines the use of algorithms to create materials about sports. The purpose of the study is to identify how artificial intelligence–based technologies can be applied in the work of modern Russian media when creating sports content. One of the key aspects of the study is an experiment with generative neural networks, which helps to assess the possibilities and limitations for the use of artificial intelligence media in the creation of sports content.
