The goals and objectives determined the structure of the work. The introduction includes the rationale for the relevance of the study, as well as the hypothesis, goals, objectives, object and subject of the study. Chapter 1 focuses on the characteristics of RES in Germany in particular, including the current status, trends and challenges. Chapter 2 describes methods of research and support of RES in Germany, factors of RES development during crises based on macroeconomic indicators and VAR regression. Chapter 3 reflects the results of the analysis and the impact of the 2008 financial economic crisis, the post-pandemic crisis COVID-19 and the 2022 ETS on RES development in Germany and the achievement of the SDGs, draws conclusions based on the findings, and formulates the prospects for RES development.
