Mono film is a form of cinematic art in which the entire film is focused on the performance of one actor, and the plot is built in line with the created image. This form of cinema is not unique, but requires great skill from the actor, since he has to immerse himself deeply in the character and maintain the audience's attention throughout the entire film with little or no help from other actors. In addition, this form requires a special scenario solution, often with internal conflict. The goal of the project is to create a mono film, identify the distinctive features of the script and direction, and short films of this form. In the process of implementing the project, the tasks of creating an original script and a short film “The return” were solved, the theoretical basis associated with acting methods was studied, the process of organizing (producing) filming was described and implemented.
