In recent years, the audio format has become increasingly popular among consumers of digital content. In the era of “fast” information, multitasking and voice control, sound plays an increasingly important role in our lives. However, the genre of the audio drama remains underestimated and occupies a relatively narrow niche. The purpose of this project is to study various tools for creating sound stories and adapting literary text into an audio format, with further creation of our own audio product, performing tasks throughout all stages of audio media production. A postmodern poem in prose by V.V. Yerofeyev "Moscow-Petushki" is reinterpreted in the true crime genre, which is relevant among the audience today. The result is a 40-minute audio drama that conveys the main plot of the literary work and immerses a listener into 1969 via documentary and biographical stories and highly developed sound design. The project aims to draw attention to the work of Venedikt Yerofeyev and to reflect on the ideas laid down in "Moscow-Petushki" by the author, as well as to revive the popularity of the Soviet radio play, interpreting it in the context of modern media genres.
