This research aims to investigate the utilization of digital media as a tool for legitimizing hybrid political regimes across seven diverse countries: Iran, Venezuela, Belarus, Turkey, Hungary, and Malaysia. The primary goal is to identify underlying patterns and dynamics in digital legitimacy within these regimes through a comprehensive analysis of digital governance practices. Methodology of the research involves conducting an extensive literature review encompassing academic studies, government reports, and media sources. Additionally, qualitative data collection methods, including interviews with experts and civil society representatives, will be utilized to triangulate findings and construct a comprehensive dataset. The expected results include insights into the historical, socio-political, and technological factors shaping digital legitimacy in hybrid political regimes. Key findings will revolve around public perceptions, trust levels, policy effectiveness, and the role of digital media in legitimization strategies. Comparative analysis across the reviewed countries will highlight commonalities and differences in digital governance practices.
