Educational Programme: Media Communications (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2024

In the dynamic landscape of qualitative research, the integration of technology, particularly through web applications, has become pivotal. This graduate work explores the evolving relationship between qualitative research methodologies and the design of web applications. It examines the role of technology in qualitative research, emphasizing the characteristics and advantages associated with web applications. In addition, it highlights unique features that make web-based applications suitable for qualitative research. The goal of this graduate work is to create a prototype of a web application for conducting qualitative research on the Figma platform. During the working process, sources on qualitative research and web applications as well as UX/UI design were studied. In addition, recommendations for the legal support of the product were developed. During the preparation of the practical part, the competitor's market was studied, the target audience of the product was described, the architecture and design system of the application were developed, and the prototype itself was created. As a result, a prototype of a web application for conducting qualitative research was created. It contains all the necessary functions for collecting and analyzing data, based on artificial intelligence algorithms, thanks to which the work of potential researchers can become even faster and more efficient. The final Figma file contains: a brand book, a landing page, a library of components, registration and interface screens, as well as an animated prototype reflecting the main functionality of the application.
