Financial Policy of Russian Radio Companies During the Socio-economic Crisis of 2020-2023

The master's thesis is devoted to the specifics of the financial policy of Russian radio companies during the socio-economic crisis in 2020-2023. The relevance of the study is due to the first significant destabilization of the domestic radio broadcasting industry and the radio advertising market over the past decade, against the background of which new, not yet studied financial strategies and measures to correct the financial policies of radio companies are being formed. As part of this work, typologies of Russian radio companies have been developed, a structural and functional analysis of the radio company, systems for the radio asset market and the radio advertising market has been carried out, a system for the domestic radio broadcasting industry have been formed. A road map of measures to correct financial policy during the current crisis for a typical Russian radio company based on information from representatives of top management of existing Russian radio companies and media holdings is presented. The information in the study can be used in the industry to evaluate the implemented financial policy of a radio company, as well as for further strategic planning.
